Nolan Xavier Wells

Background

Nolan Xavier Wells was born on August 19, 2007 to Elmore Wonsley Sr. and Christine Wells-Wonsley, and was raised in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. He graduated from Ocean Springs High School in 2025. At the time of his disappearance and death, he was attending and playing football at Southwest Mississippi Community College as a wide receiver.

Justice for Nolan Wells

God has the leverage in this case and we will not stop calling on God to bring forth justice.

“And David reigned over all Israel; and David executed judgment and justice unto all his people.†(2 Samuel 8:15).

The Parable of the Persistent Widow

“Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.

He said: “In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared what people thought.

And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ‘Grant me justice against my adversary.’

“For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, ‘Even though I don’t fear God or care what people think,

yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t eventually come and attack me!’â€

And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says.

And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?

I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Mancomes, will he find faith on the earth?â€â€ (Luke 18:1-8 (NIV).

“For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.†(Isaiah 63:4 KJV).

“Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.†(Romans 12:19 KJV).

We, so-called black people are not afraid because we are committed to putting our complete trust, confidence and faith in God.

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.†(2Timothy 1:7  KJV).

Exodus 14:13-14

“And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.

The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.†(Exodus 14:13-14 KJV).

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.†(2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV).

“These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:

And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the LORD.†(Zechariah 8:16-17 KJV).

Know this, God will make this right. Nolan Wells and countless others have not suffered senseless violence in vain. God will do it!

Please call on God, in the name of Jesus, asking him to fulfill his promise to deliver us from evil. (See Matthew 6:9-13).

As a people, we must cry out to God for forgiveness of our sins, not only so-called black people, but all people (nations) must divorce themselves from evil and cry out to God, owning and confessing our sin.

The whole earth, even nature itself is in distress because humanity is fast losing its sense of morality and charity.

“Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold,†(Matthew 24:12 NIV).

This is yet another opportunity, possibly the last opportunity for many of us to effect righteous change, not only in Mississippi, but also across all of America and the world.

Uphold justice and protect the vulnerable.

“Learn to do right; seek justice.
Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.” (Isaiah 1:17 NIV).

“But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!” (Amos 5:24 NIV).

Wisdom demands societal structures that will speak and act on behalf of those who cannot defend themselves.

“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.

Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.” (Proverbs 31:8-9 NIV).

“The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them: but transgressors shall be taken in their own naughtiness.†(Pro 11:6  KJV).

“Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.†(Proverbs 14:34  KJV).

“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.†(Proverbs 29:2 KJV).

If those who profess to be Christian would enter into their closets and pray believing that their prayers are heard and answered, righteous change would happen in the earth.

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.†(2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV).

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.†(Hebrews 11:6 KJV).

“And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.†(Rom 13:11-14).

“And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.†(Rev 22:10-13 KJV).
