Worthless money

Gold and silver quickly reach higher than expected heights. The current price of silver is approximately $103.93 per ounce as of January 23, 2026. Although it has not reached $500 per ounce, it is more than probable that it will in 2026.

But even though silver and gold prices will continue to rise it will not profit those who choose to live their lives apart from God and Christ our savior. Because the judgement of God is going to destroy all man made economies.
Money, Fiat money, even gold and silver will soon become worthless. So put your hope and faith in God (Yahawah) before it is too late.

Divine judgment is upon us, silver and gold will absolutely lose their value, and the futility of relying on material wealth for security will be realized by those who do not know God.

I am not an alarmist, however, it is extremely important that we prioritize our relationship with God over the accumulation of material wealth.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.
Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed.
But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.” (John 3:16-21 NIV).

The Bible, particularly in Ezekiel 7:19, it is stated that during a time of disaster, people will throw their silver and gold into the streets because they will be considered worthless and unable to save them from God’s judgment. This reflects a time when wealth could not provide security or sustenance amid crisis.

“They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.” (Ezekiel 7:19 KJV).

Please hear the warning from the most high, gold and silver can and will corrode and lose their value in the last days, when God’s judgment comes upon the earth. Your riches, luxuries all lose their value, and will be of no use to anyone at all.

“Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.” (James 5:1 KJV).

Trust God not Wealth

The nations are shaking and the economic slowdown is threatening to collapse financial systems worldwide. Christians are turning to precious metal, silver and gold, to prepare for the hard times ahead even though God warned against it.
Those who put their trust in riches will fall because it is hard for those who trust in riches to enter God’s Kingdom. “No one can serve two masters…”. We cannot serve both God and money.

“He who trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous will flourish like the green leaf.” (Proverbs 11.28 NASB95).

“And Jesus, looking around, said to His disciples, “How hard it will be for those who are wealthy to enter the kingdom of God!” (Mark 10.23 NASB95).

“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.” (Mark 6.24 NASB95).

Don’t allow the pursuit of wealth nor the obtaining of money cause you to neglect God’s word. Obedience to God’s word is even more important if you have an abundance of wealth.
So be on guard against wealth, that is, the love of it, because when people obtain abundant wealth it tends to lead to pride which causes us to forget the Lord.

“And the one on whom seed was sown among the thorns, this is the man who hears the word, and the worry of the world and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.” (Matthew 13.22 NASB95).

We must seek God with all of our heart and guard ourselves against the temptation to chase after money. When people are not seeking God with their whole heart, and they obtain abundant wealth, it becomes a snare and a stumbling block. You cannot serve God and money because wealth is a temptation and a snare to our hearts.

Do not worry about your life

“Then Jesus said to his disciples: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear.
For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes.
Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds!
Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life ?
Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?
“Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.
If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you—you of little faith!
And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it.
For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them.
But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.” (Luke 12:22-31 NIV).

“When you have eaten and are satisfied, you shall bless the Lord your God for the good land which He has given you.
Beware that you do not forget the Lord your God by not keeping His commandments and His ordinances and His statutes which I am commanding you today;
otherwise, when you have eaten and are satisfied, and have built good houses and lived in them,
and when your herds and your flocks multiply, and your silver and gold multiply, and all that you have multiplies,
then your heart will become proud and you will forget the Lord your God who brought you out from the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.” (Deut. 8.10-14 NASB95).

“Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.” (Luke 12.15 NIV).

“But godliness with contentment is great gain.
For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it.
But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that.
Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.” (1 Timothy 6.8-10 NIV).

“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.” (Hebrews 13:5-6 KJV).
